Book assginments:

A physical, paper copy of this book is required:

Examples & Explanations for Intellectual Property, Sixth Edition
by Stephen M. McJohn
Published: 2018, Wolters Kluwer
ISBN: 9781454891987
  • Note 1: There is no requirement that the above book be in any kind of condition (new, used, etc.). It just has to be a physical, paper copy. This is because assuming we have a normal exam, the essay portion will be open-book for all paper resources, but accessing digital files will be prohibited. Thus if you don't have a paper copy, you'll be at a disadvantage.

  • Note 2: If your printed copy will be slow to arrive, no problem. My understanding is that you can access a digital copy through OU Law Library using the Wolters Kluwer Study Aid subscription. Go to this webpage and use your Wolters Kluwer Library Card credentials to log in. If you have lost track of your Wolters Kluwer Library Card information, you can contact the Law Library, and they can assist you.
In addition, students will be required to access certain online open-access materials, which they may choose to download and print.
