Notes of corrections and differences among different printings:

Volume One 2.00 to 2.01:

  • A new cover image has been used. It’s still a lime green safety cone – just a different one. The copyright date for the cover image has been correspondingly updated on page vi.
  • Page iv has been updated to reflect that this is a second printing, version 2.01.
  • Errant periods occurring in the middle of sentences on page vi have been removed.
  • On pages 17, 23, and 471, the phrase “For both volumes” has been replaced – with “For all volumes” on 17 and 23, and with “Applicable to all volumes” on 471. This reflects the fact that part of Volume Two is being split off into a Volume Three.
  • On page 109, line 14, “own conduct created put” was corrected to “own conduct put”.
  • The first line of question A on page 114 and line 3 on page 115 have been corrected to remove a reference to Yania v. Bigan, a case no longer included in this second edition, and question C on page 114 was corrected to remove an extra occurrence of the words “that money”.
  • On page 144, the typo “grocery story” was corrected to “grocery store”.
  • On page 174, an extra “that” was removed from the first line of the “Flatbed” example.
  • On page 244, in problem A, “a 20 minute’s work” was changed to “20 minutes of work”
  • On page 401, in the case headnotes, “Court ofdozo Appeal” was changed to “Court of Appeal.”
  • This page 476 was re-typeset to accommodate more text. This “CHANGES/CORRECTIONS” section was added to page 476.

Volume Two 2.00 to 2.01:

  • Page iv was changed to note that 2.01 was marked as the "First Printing" rather than the "pre-print electronic version".
  • There were no other changes.

Volume Two 2.01 to 2.02:

  • Page iv was changed, noting the new printing, etc.
  • On page 158, "That question is turns" was changed to "That question turns".
  • On page 179, "The can involve " was changed to "They can involve ".
  • On page 210, "whether its fixed to the Earth" was changed to "whether it’s fixed to the Earth".
